And the New Book is:

SKRYBE

For all those who wanted to know what happened to my other two books, I haven't abandoned them, The Nithcur King is getting a total rewrite based on new ideas, and majorly improved storytelling, and Theodore's Gate is still being worked on, however some problems did arise with that book and I am in the process of correcting them.

This new book Is for now mostly a secret, however I do plan on it being a series; some things I can tell you is that it's going to be my first sci-fi story.

The plot as far as i can tell you is: a group of teenagers are captured by a secret military organization, and find out they were all genetic experiments to create the perfect super soldier. The organization preaches peace, however some think it has far more sinister intentions, and the teens must decide who they can trust.

I plan to finish this book by the end of next month, and given my current progress that shouldn't be too hard.

I will cap off by showing you all some inspiration songs for this book.

Fireflight: Stronger Than You Think

Owl City: Dreams Don't Turn to Dust

Newsboys: Something to Believe In

Feed the Machine

Hopefully I will be able to post more soon.

I'm starting to get known for these

Thought I would do something fun today, I very rarely listen to Secular music, but when I do like one, I keep track of it. I'm Not gonna bother confining this to 5 or ten or whatever, this is just a short list of secular music in no particular order that I personally like.

This is how a heart breaks By Rob Thomas
I like this song a little, I mean it's ok, but in all honesty, the music video is awesome.

Son of Man by Phil Collins
Ok I know what you're thinking, this is a Disney song, so it doesn't count, and I would have to say honestly I think it does. Many of you have asked me the inspiration of the character "The Cloak" From my Nithcur King book, and the Answer is: Disney's Tarzan. It may seem like a stretch, but the idea did come from there, and especially this song.

Down to Earth by Peter Gabriel
WALL-e was undoubtedly one of Pixar's finest films. The ending was particularly great, and this song at the end just made it all that much better. It's as beautiful as the film it was written for.

When I Was Your Age by Weird Al Yankovic
Ok this is Weird Al, Everyone loves him, but if I had to pick a favorite, I would choose "When I Was Your Age".
"Didn't have no lawn mower, had to use our teeth to cut the grass!" LOL

Kings and Queens by 30 Seconds to Mars
Not sure I know what the writer's original meaning was, but what I took away was: We were made to be rulers of the world, but we have fallen and destroyed whatever God meant for us to be. I quite honestly doubt that was the intent of the song, but whatever their true intent was, I quite honestly like it.

Do what you want By OK GO
Kinda hard to pick a favorite OK GO video, they have some of the most enjoyable music videos ever, but if I had to pick one, this would be it.

Bad Day - Daniel Powter
Ok not my favorite ever, but it's good, and makes a decent pick-me-up.

Little Wonders by Rob Thomas
No doubt my favorite secular song, actually one of my favorite songs period. It was played at the end of Meet the Robinsons, and while I love the film, I love the song more.

I hope you all enjoyed my collection here, and I will post something serious later on, I just felt like having a little fun.

Ok I'll admit it

It is rather hard to write an opening to a story. I struggle with it the most of anything I do. Particularly the Nithcur King's first act is some of the most difficult writing, as what happens in it sets up every element later on. It's easy to write a good twist, or a great battle, but the ordinary life around us is the hardest thing in the world.

So far the Nithcur King rewrite is going well. It's definitely got a lot more action and atmosphere than I used to have. Originally I wrote the book with a realistic bent, but since then I decided to go more stylized with my story. This obviously will change the tone, but I hope it's for the better.

Another update, I've got one more interview, and hopefully I will get the job, thank you all who've prayed over the matter. I hope to better at this job than my last.

There is however one thing I want to talk about. This is something that has quite frankly, lost me friends, and gotten on everyone's nerves one time or another.

I freely admit that I'm hard on fellow believers, some of you don't realize that I'm critical of myself too, but I expect fellow believers should hold themselves to a higher standard than that of this world. I feel like we should not only keep from sin, but also not judge others because they view things differently than you. I'm guilty of doing such, but I know it's wrong, and I strongly appose it.

At the same time, I don't fight the world. I don't bash the gay community, or boycott businesses, I don't believe in starting a revolution, and I don't believe in "fighting for our country". I don't spend years trying to get the people of this world to see why abortion is wrong, I don't yell at kids for reading harry potter, I don't join in anti Muslim sentiments, I don't debate with atheists, and I don't get worked up over how immodest people are.

Does this mean I don't agree with these standards? eh not really the case, generally I agree on the biblical basis, but I don't believe we can convert the earth to our life styles, nor can we expect them to even understand why murder is wrong. I can't get people to act out something they don't believe in, that is why I tell believers, guard your own heart, and try to convert the hearts of others, but it's no use fighting. Understand, we can dress up this world in pretty ribbon and bows, but if the core is rotten, its stench will be noticed. Christians all too often bash some party or another for not doing what they think is right, when they should be preaching to these people the Gospel.

I doubt many of you will agree, but I hope some of you will, and this is honestly how I see it.

A chapter closed.

I sit here writing this and I don’t even know why. Words have always been something I have an abundance of and yet even I don’t have the words to describe what has happened to me over the past month. TO say that my world shattered would be an understatement. To say that my life took an unexpected turn would also be an understatement.

A year and a half ago Me and Kinderline entered a relationship that grew rapidly. Two months ago we got engaged. I was quite happy. Everything was going smoothly and I didn’t see any problems, but there were. Kinderline never told her family anything, and when everything fell apart for her, I got upset, but I hoped we could still have a future.

That was however not the case, as a month ago today, Kinderline officially broke up with me. My life went from great to horrible in seconds, and I fell flat on my face.

Through that though I’ve learned more about myself and even what I want in life. During my relationship I lost track of my writing, and in many ways I also lost track of my family. Over the past month I have been rethinking who and what I am, and I realize first and foremost, I am loyal to my God and my family, and I am also truly a writer. No relationship should ever take that away from me, and this is where I draw the line.

While I was happy, inevitably I would have wound up miserable, as I was not who I was meant to be, not even what I wanted to be. I was what someone else wanted out of me. Anyone who knew me realized I quit joking, quit writing, quit hanging around my family. I was falling away, and deep down I knew it, I just didn’t want to accept it.

And so that chapter has closed on my life. I don’t know what is held in store for me in the future, but I know this. I can’t fix everybody else’s problems, no matter how hard I try, and I can’t just forget who I am for someone else.

As for the Legends of Adam Brewer
There are many tales left to be told.

The biggest influences in modern Christain music.

I would like to point out ahead of time, this is all subjective. This is my opinion and you are free to agree or disagree as you please.

 5th place: Micheal W Smith

Genre: Pop
hits: Friends, Place in this world, Secret ambition, Go West Young Man, This Is Your Time, and many many more.

I never really liked Smitty. His work always seemed super shallow to me, but I would be lying if I said he didn't have talent, and further that he has been a big influence. Friends, and Place in this world being his two biggest hits ever, I personally preferred his slightly deeper pieces such as: Secret Ambition.

Overall, his career has been filled with catchy pieces with just enough meaning that almost every album he has released has been a huge success.

4th Place: Steven Curtis Chapman

Genre: Pop/Country
hits: Remember your chains, Dive, Great adventure, Lord of the Dance, Heaven in the real word, Live out Loud.

Unlike Smitty, Steven Curtis Chapman is an artist I actually like, just not love. His influence is just as big as Smitty, but evenly spread between pop and Country. for the longest time he was one of the few singers out there with both talent, and lyrical depth.

Steven's works such as Great adventure, and Dive made him one of the most fun pop singers to listen to. While others such as Remember your chains showed just how much depth he's had, and just how much he offers to the industry.

3rd Place: Petra

genre: Rock
hits: Beyond Belief, Grave Robber, This Means War, Beat the System, Witch hunt, many more that I am not familiar with.

Petra is one of the few bands that can lose their original lead singer, and actually become more popular. First with Greg X Volts they took a genre that essentially had no talent, or so little that it's influence was nonexistent, and defined it single-handedly.

When Greg X Voltz and Petra split up, they got John Schlitt who had already been famous as lead singer of Head East before converting to Christianity. After his arrival they produced hits such as Beyond Belief, and This means war, and this success continued till the end of the 80s.

2nd place: Kutless

Genre: Rock
Hits: Shut me out, Sea of faces, Hearts of the innocent, Strong tower, Not what you see, Treason, What faith can do, and many others.

If Petra defined Christian rock, Kutless transformed it. Their influence has been felt everywhere in music, from Worship music, to hard rock, to Acoustic, Kutless has done it all, and has been one of the best behind their lead vocalist Jon Micah Sumrall.
While their first Album Kutless was a hit in the rock industry, it was Sea Of Faces that started their single handed change of Christian rock. Since then almost every album has been a success including their two Worship Albums.

And the best part is that Kutless does not seem to be seriously slowing down, they will continue to influence a previously starved Christian rock genre for years to come.

The Most Influential Band in Christian music is: Dc Talk

Genre: Rap/Rock
Hits: Jesus Freak, Colored People, Say the Words, Jesus is Just Alright, Into Jesus, Supernatural, Luv is a Verb, Between you and Me, Mind's Eye, What if I Stumble, Consume me

No band in Christian music has had more of an impact, and no band has changed more of our music than DC Talk. Their lyrics were the best, period. Their talent made secular equivalents sound just plain bad. They were that good.
They started out as a rap band, and stayed that way up to their Hit album Free at Last. Then out of the blue, they switched to Rock, and it wasn't a mistake at all.
They Released Jesus Freak, And the world has never been the same since. No Album, so SONG has changed Christian music more than Jesus Freak.
Then three years later Supernatural. Such a worthy successor to their first rock album, and then, suddenly out of the blue they broke up. The band still technically exists, they just are taking an extended break.

The band however STILL is changing the genre, Toby Mac is the king of Christian rap, Kevin Max is doing..... something, I know he still sings but I don't know what he does, and Micheal Tait is the lead Singer of the formerly Stagnating Newsboys. Their influence is still felt long after their break up, and I do not believe a band will EVER have more influence.

A note from my father, He believes, and I actually agree, that Steve Taylor should be on this list as an Honorable mention. His influence on music was large, and he turned the Newsboys into successful band.

A change of plans

Some of you know I have been gearing this site up For my Christmas and thanksgiving events. Trouble is they are not gonna happen.  See this year I'm doing something slightly differant.

like moving. to whole new blog. That's right, this blog is not going to be my main blog anymore as I got a new one. Me and Kindy are going to be posting together, and I'll keep this one around for my stories, and other guy stuff.

If you want to see me and Kindy's co-blog http://ttibw.blogspot.com/ The Truth In Black & White is a new blog for the two of us to post what is going on in our lives, and for us to discuss courtship related matters. When Kindy gets back on Sunday the blog will officially launch.

See you there.

Ummmm....I'm being naughty :P

Hello! Me is being naughty *grins* He didn't say I could post anything again. But me is doing it anyways...cause I am bored, and I've had enough with calling colleges for the day!

So...what havock can I employ here?
What mayhem may I pursue?
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! as I speak to him now he doesn't know! He doesn't realize the depths of my insanity! (or what I can do when I'm bored :P)

Me is happy! And no, I don't know why I'm saying me instead of I. But, who cares? No one said I had to be perfect! if I was perfect, then I'd be a robot. A marionette. A drone! I wouldn't be me, I couldn't be me, I'd be the world, and then I would be dead. I would live a life only according to the world's standards, I would be nothing, even if they all said I was quite a something. I must live, and if to live it means I must be different, then so be it! I shall be different, I shall be both tame and wild! Both a servant and Free! I am what God has made me to be! and I'm also not supposed to technically be here! But who cares! I don't know. But I do know that i was bored, and now I am better ^_^

So, fare thee well ya'll! :D

(I hope he doesn't kill me :P)

Angel signing off!!! ^__^

Keep moving forward

Nothing is so frustrating as waiting. It can be easy to quit when you have to wait on something, and that's why God makes us wait. When we want to take the easy way out, he gives us another challenge.

I have been in a waiting cycle in my life for a while. I hate waiting as much as anyone so it has been easy to say I quit, but still I keep coming back to the fact that there is no easy way through life, and if God wants us to wait, then we wait, not that we sit around doing nothing, but we prepare for what he wants us to do. I have been studying my bible more than I ever have, and trying to figure out my math. I also have been trying to fine tune my writing skills.

Unlike so many other times in my life though, I actually see the end of my waiting cycle this time. I am moving forward, and I hope that I will be ready when I do move forward.

I just wonder how many others here are caught in a waiting period, and frustrated that nothing seems to happen?

Back

Well it's been since September 23rd since I last put up a decent blog post, s it's high time I do it again.

As you all can tell Kindy posted on my blog, and yes it is all part of my (evil?) Christmas scheme. do not expect any more hints, they ain't coming till December.

Now, you may also have noticed I didn't put NFL picks up. that's because they were stressing me out, so I decided to ditch them before I became crazed, and drove my competitive nature to the point of blowing up certain team's locker rooms.

Now that that is all cleared up, I hope to get back to regular posting. The problem lay in that I had created a series of posts that I have decided to pull. you will not be seeing them now, or likely anytime in the near future.

A LOT is happening this Tuesday. Me and Kindy are planning to work on my book then (The Nithcur Prophesy), and that evening me and my dad are going to watch Toy Story 3. While I know it may seem silly for two grown men to watch toy story 3, Toy story was our first movie together,a nd I thought it would be special, and kinda cool to go see together.

This is about all I can think of right now. Not sure what else to say, so thank you for reading my blog, and I promise you I will be back to posting soon.

Howdy Who!

Howdy who! Hello from me to you! I'm Kinderline! Does my name sound like a bell tinkling?

Ok, no more ryming for right now. I don't want you all to think I'm crazy, cause I'm not; I'm insane ;-) lol

Sooooooooo.....who am I? I dunno, who are you? I don't know that either! But I is me not a Who. Oh wait, I'm gf to the nut who owns this blog :P I'm insane, he's a nut, if you don't know t he difference...well, ask him *grins*

Ok, I think I'm rambling a bit too much right now. Right now I am typing this and only half paying attention to what I'm saying, I'm looking around at my room. there're roses wilting on my windowsill ;( I wish they would have lasted longer. Oh well! *smiles*

Did I mention Adam's a goof? Yeah, he is one, but he's an awsome one. Eventhough I'd advise you not to mention stuff that will make him go on a rant unless you have a while lol jk, his rants aren't that bad. Plus he actually makes 'points' when he rants. Unlike me, where I just wind up doing nothing but a bunch of hot headed opinions. Sometimes I do make sense though...I think :P

AGh! I forgot to tell you what I'm doing here *palms face* I'm here going to be doing some guest posts on my man's blog here. Yuppers, it's something to do with this christmas scheme he's got. I'm still not quite sure what it is even! ^_^ oh well, we'll all just have to be surprised now won't we?

P.S.
If no one comments, I'm going to do something much worse than string you all up by your neckties...because...I'm an Angel *grins mischeviously*

A chess match with the Devil

This is a weird Idea I had

To Kinderline
The person who convinced me to follow through with this.

The man sat in the bar. He picked up his drink and sipped it carefully. He looked ahead of himself at the man in the dirty rags for cloths. He moved his piece, knowing the man in front of him was going to fall.

His name was unknown to everyone in the bar. The women behind him were his. They were really there as part of his defense, but he loved to use them to gloat over the hobos that came in to play against him. He took another sip.
“Looks like you are going to have to pay me big.” He said. His name was Louis, and he was in the nicest suit that money could buy. He knew what the high life was like, and this was as close to it he believed could be gotten.
“Sir, please have mercy upon me, I didn't know it would cost this much.” The man said.
“Oh it's not me you have to pay, I have debts to pay, and I'm sure your hide would be worth something, so you better pay, or win, Your choice.” Louis said calmly.
The man made his move, and Louis put him in check mate. Louis looked him in the eye as he cowered there.
“Go line up against the wall, and prepare for my first task.” Louis said. Louis reset the table, and ordered a new drink. He smiled to himself. He never lost a match, a new sucker came in first playing the gamble, and then getting caught in the match, and Louis would have them for life. A new slave, and when they died, he would just sell the bodies to those whom he owed. Let them have as they would. He hated the low life, and loved making them suffer.

Louis dinged the bell, and a new individual came up. He looked Louis in the eye, almost with hate, but something else was there. Louis sighed and pulled out his book.
“What do you want to sell your soul for, $100, 1,000, what?” Louis smiled and took another sip.
“Everything.” The shabby man replied. Louis almost choked.
“You are going to risk everything for my everything?” Louis smiled. “Amazing, well I'll call it a deal.”
“Good, I'm black.” The hobo said.
“Black? You people usually want white, but whatever.” Louis said, and turned the board around. “So where do you come from?”
“I'm not a local, but I heard you are unbeaten.” the hobo said in a gruff voice.
“The prize is huge, so take your best shot.” Louis said.
“I assure you, I will.” The hobo replied.

Louis moved a pawn forward, and took a sip from his cup. “Yes, I have won many matches, and you are just my next.”
The hobo stayed quiet as he moved a pawn. Louis looked at it, and made his move. Louis would win, as always. The hobo was more ambitious than the usual throwback humans in the area. Louis looked at one of his guards as they drove the last loser into the back room. He scanned through his book, and jotted down the order of all or nothing, and then reached over and moved his next pawn.
Suddenly the hobo moved his knight. Louis looked at it, but then moved his last pawn into position. He picked up the the newspaper, and looked at the headline. The hobo moved, and as before very quickly. He moved his bishop into check on Louis's king.
“You are better than the locals.” Louis said, and moved his pawn in defense. The hobo moved his knight into empty space, it had no gain as far as Louis could tell. Louis moved his rook, and then the hobo replied by taking the blocking pawn with his bishop.

Louis look at the board for a moment, and then took the bishop with his queen.

As soon as he let go he swore; the hobo took his queen with the knight. Louis sat back and looked The hobo in the eye. The Hobo looked at him with a cold glare.
“Who are you?” Louis asked.
“I'm Joseph, I do believe you owe me.” The Hobo replied.
Louis tapped his fingers nervously. “You still have to beat me.” Louis said.
“I assure you I will, I know what you will do. I know your every move, and I know you will try to cheat, even though I just stated this now; you lost this match before I ever entered the bar.
Louis moved the king toward the knight. “You still have to beat me.” Louis said coldly.
Joseph moved his pawn; Louis moved his king to take the knight; Joseph slammed his rook across the the board to put his king in check. Louis moved his rook in the way. Louis moved his queen to take a pawn.

It kept going like that for the next two minutes: Louis would make a movement, and Joseph would take another piece. Finally Louis scanned the board carefully. He looked up at the bar maiden, and signaled to her.
“Please get me the usual.” Louis said.
“You're stalling.” Joseph said.
“I'm thinking, and I'm hungry.” Louis said.
“You are afraid. I would leave you if you let these people go.” Joseph said.
“They are mine, and you can't talk me out of them. I haven’t lost yet.” Louis said. “Now, you want anything?” Louis asked.
“Just a second.” Joseph said. He turned away to face the bar maiden explaining to her what he wanted. Louis looked a the board, and quickly moved Joseph's queen into a position that he could take with his rook. Joseph turned around to face Louis, and looked at the board.
“Your turn Louis.” He said.
“Indeed.” Louis said, and took the queen with his rook. Joseph frowned, but moved his bishop. Louis moved a pawn, and so did Joseph. This time Louis frowned; he struggled against Joseph's seeming undaunted strategy. Louis made a move, and then watched as his rook was taken.

“Louis, your cheat, you thought was a help, but I took it into account when I first looked at this board. You don't have a strategy anymore.” Joseph said. Louis ignored him and got his food; it was swordfish. Louis had the best meals ordered to the place as he paid for practically everything inside its walls. Joseph however did not get anything but water. Louis did notice the bar maiden taking a steak back to a man sitting in the door. Louis put down his fork.
“Ordering food for the locals now? They aren’t yours.” Louis said.
“They will be In fifteen moves.” Joseph said.
“Quit it.” Louis said.
“I will when you hand everything over.” Joseph said.
“These people are my slaves and you can't have them!” Louis snarled. He then moved his bishop.
His king went into check. Louis moved his king. But then Joseph moved a second rook down. Louis realized it was going to be less than fifteen moves.
“You are the real criminal here, why would you never leave me in peace?” Louis snarled.
“Because you are mine. Remember when we worked together, You were my greatest assistant, and things worked so beautifully. I recall you had quite the beautiful mansion near me, but now it's all gone. You decided to start looting my pockets, and you then turned to me, and wanted me to make you more powerful.” Joseph said.
“You were taking advantage of me, I simply wanted my due.” Louis said.
“You wanted to hold these people as your own slaves, to erect a house for you grander than mine.” Joseph said.
“It would have worked if it had not been for your guards.” Louis said.
“If they hadn't taken you down, I would have, and that's why you are here, in the slums picking the pockets of the poor, and stealing the food of the needy. You are a leech, and that's why I'm here.” Joseph said.
“The only leech is you.” Louis said.
“Funny that before you came here everything was a far more beautiful place.” Joseph said.
“I hate you, and these people deserve everything coming to them, you yourself said so.” Louis said.
“I also said I do not like to see them suffer, and you do. You delight in their pain, and your power. You always wanted to know what's the difference between us? You are heartless, you would kill your own henchman here if you thought it would do you any good.” Joseph snapped back.
“Get out.” Louis moved his king. Joseph moved his rook, and so they repeated till Louis was one move away from losing everything. He grabbed a tuft of his hair and looked Joseph in the eye, then looked at the solid wood board, and then grabbed it, and threw it into Joseph's face.
Joseph took it out of the air, but Louis quickly threw a punch into Joseph's face. Joseph flicked the board up to block the blow. Louis felt his hand crunch against the board, and he screamed.
“You just forfeit.” Joseph said.
“I will lose nothing!” Louis screamed, and stood up. Joseph stood up and looked him in the eye. Louis panicked, and threw another punch, but Joseph grabbed it out of the air.
“Give it up.” Joseph said, and the almost with a flick of his wrist sent Louis flying over the table and trough the window. Louis fell into the dumpster and blacked out.

__.....__

“You people are all free to go as you wish, and you are free to take any food you need, I will be waiting to take you all outside. I have a place where you all can stay.” Joseph said to the stunned people.
“Where is it?” A man asked.
“A ways up the road.” Joseph said.
“Will we be tortured?” A woman asked.
“Absolutely not, but hurry I do not have all day.” Joseph said, and you will have to work, basic upkeep, oh and helping me get these people off of the streets.” Joseph said. “Like I said, meet me outside when you are ready.”
He turned to the table and saw the white king standing upright. He scowled, and then flicked it over, then walked out of the bar.

It can't be done

Some people have been left with the impression that I can't write a song, while I still think I'm not that good at it, I'm going to still show you the one I've written yesterday.

You said it can't be done!

Verse 1
Through time, many wars have been fought.
With no peace, Anyone looking for hope,
Only hate will win, is what they're taught.

We all want to break out,
All eager for a chance to get away
But as they fight and shout
it's hopeless, that's all you say.

Chorus
You said it can't be done!
(As these streets are calming)
You said it can't be done!
(As the mobs are disarming)
You said it can't be done!
(They're helping not harming)
And you said it can't be done!

Verse 2
Death is inevitable, the grave is calling.
The fragile path we walk, eternal not an option,
We all grow old, and the young are falling.

We still can rise above,
though we're doomed at the start.
The Holy Son shows us love,
But we must give him our heart.

Chorus
You said it can't be done!
(He rose up from the grave)
You said it can't be done!
(While we rant and rave)
You said it can't be done!
(eternity, it's what he gave)
And you said it can't be done!

Bridge
We ain't gonna win any awards
For not showing any faith
We ain't gonna get win a prize
For spreading the hopeless lies!

and while this clock is ticking,
o ye of little faith
and while you fall for tricking
I won't sit and wait!

Chorus
I say it can be done!
(The walls are falling)
I say it can be done!
(he is there, willing)
I say it can be done!
(To keep us from dying)
And you said it can't be done!

You said it can't be done!
(give it up, you're wrong)
You said it can't be done!
(You'll know before long)
You said it can't be done!
(just how much you're wrong)
While you said it can't be done!

End
And while you scream, saying:
It Can't be done!
He's on his throne, saying:
It Will be done.

Last week I went dead even at 8-8, meaning my score has dropped to a terrible: 19 - 12
Unless I go nearly perfect for the rest of the season, I'm definitely not gonna do better than The pros.

Facebook's real nemesis

Ok, I would like to say, my first attempt at the social media world was Twitter. I liked that it gave me away to update the world on what I was up to without writing a huge blog post, but it was very limited, and eventually I got frustrated and left it behind.

My second time in was Google Buzz. Immediately when I got into buzz I noticed two things: One it had way fewer limitations, and Two it integrated seamlessly into my existing lifestyle because I already use Gmail, Blogger, Picasa, YouTube, and many other Google services. I immediately found some of my friends though my Gmail contacts, and then found a few that they chatted with. Gmail also was built in as the private messaging system for Buzz though a  robust email service, and Gtalk integration was a nice bonus.

I was happy with this, and probably wouldn't have done anything else, but Kindy talked me into joining Facebook. As you all know Facebook is the king of Social media. They have chat, private messaging, they invented the wall, and also have integration into many services. It was powerful, it was clean, it was boring.

Seriously, I learned there was one thing about Facebook I truly hated, it's bland boring 1990's style web page. It was possibly the ugliest thing I have seen on the internet in a long time. Even Twitter allowed you to add a custom background, but this was just white and blue.

To add insult to injury, it was harder to find my friends on FB. See unlike Buzz where I could look through my contacts, FB had no such robust feature set, it's friend finder was powerful, but it didn't help me find the people I wanted to find, so in the end it was useless.

FB also has games, which at first seem really cool, but I quickly learned they were more of a nuisance than fun. I get tired of 95% of my news feed being about what my friends and family are doing on Farmville. And the Integration into my Google services are weaker than Buzz.

Now I find myself back to Buzz mostly, I still do some stuff on my FB, but I find Buzz is easier, more robust, MORE social, and just friendlier. I can more easily control who sees my posts, and who doesn't, I can choose whether a Follower gets into my chat contacts, and same with other buzz users. It essentially allows me to control my privacy better than I would normally be able to.

The truth is I suspect I am not the only one. Buzz is more private and closed to my friends. I can control who sees what, and I can feel more like I am in a tight circle of friends, and less like I am on public display in a crowd on people, trying to find someone I know.

It will take a while, but I think that Buzz will in the end win out over Facebook.

Beware of grapes with wooden mallets

My posts have been experiencing technical difficulties. *hides game controller* So don't expect them just yet. On that same note, my books have been rebelling, and ran away to join another author. If you spot them, just email me.

However I am not without bits of wisdom for you. If you watch a trailer for an upcoming movie, make sure your two year old brother is nowhere near. He might love one of the character in it, and want you to replay it over and over.

But I didn't not heed my own advice, and He now loves this:

It's "The guy movie."

Recall notice

Ok everyone, I was supposed to have a great series of posts this week, but I got lazy and did not finish them, so while I play catch-up I have to get something up right?

Well Considering I do not have much going on, I will have to just ramble on here. I got the talk to my Girlfriend yesterday, and we had a great chat. The Packers (GO PACK!) ripped right through the Deadbeat Bills yesterday, so I got both of my Positives. I just ate a bag of vanilla cream sandwich cookies by (looks at bag)  Frito Lay. I have been enjoying an old MMO but newly free to play known as Lord of The Rings Online. I am enjoying it quite a bit, so if any of you ever want to download it and play it, my name is Jingard, and I play on the Meneldor server.

Tired of me rambling yet? TOO BAD! This is my blog and I can do whatever stupid things I want to do with it.

I'm tired of rambling.

Now I will share four completely different songs that have nothing in common other than I like them.
